About the trip

Summer 2015

A few co-workers and I were finishing up work when we decided to go on a bike ride down to camp in False Cape, Virginia’s southernmost state park. We had heard rumors of the bioluminescence that occurs when a red tide comes about. Determined to see it, we biked a few miles down to where there would be no light pollution with hopes to see this glowing plankton. After setting up camp we headed down to the beach to find the glowing waves hit the shore. To read more about this trip you can read an article I wrote here and below are some of my favorite shots. Enjoy!
